Apple announced the upcoming release of the iCloud, a service that allows the syncing of your devices to occur automatically and instantaneously. Apple expects to unleash this service in the fall, and we wondered how excited the public is for this new release. (Click on Steve Jobs for a helpful video) How can the real estate industry benefit from the iCloud? We pondered the potential for Realtors using this service. In combination with some of the latest technology, the iCloud can offer great solutions in real estate. One suggestion we came up with takes advantage of the ability to take pictures that will sync up immediately to your computer. Using the new trend towards QR codes, a person on the iCloud can take a picture of a QR Code on an iPhone and push a copy of the photo to all devices on the Cloud. This means this person can pull up a copy of the QR code photo on his PC and scan it later on an iPhone. As more and more brokerages begin to display QR codes on for sale signs and buildings, being able to store the code for later viewing will take the QR code feature even further and milks the latest technology out of everything it’s got to offer. For more information about the iCloud, visit Apple’s website. Not following us on Twitter or a fan on Facebook?
